About T. Troy McNemar
T. Troy McNemar is an attorney certified as a specialist in
Estate and Trust Law by the State Bar of Arizona. Since 1991,
he has been representing Arizona clients with estate planning,
probate, trust administration and adult guardianships and
conservatorships.
Troy graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Accounting from
Washburn University in 1988. He attended the University of
Kansas School of Law, and graduated Order of the Coif in 1991.
While at KU Law School, Troy was selected as the Outstanding Estate
Planning student by the law school faculty and served as Note and
Comment Editor for the Kansas Law Review.
Troy is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of Arizona
and the United States District Courts for the State of Arizona.
He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and belongs to the
Probate and Trust Law and Elder Law and Mental Health sections of
the bar. He is also a member of the Maricopa County Bar
Association.
Troy was selected as one of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers.
Troy is active in the Arizona nonprofit community. He served
as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of St. Mary’s Food Bank
Alliance from 2013-2015. He has been involved with the Food
Bank since 1994 and served on the Board of Directors from 2004-2017.
He remains active with the Food Bank as a member of the Board of
Directors of SMFB Foundation which oversees the Food Bank’s
Endowment, an advisory member to the Board of Directors and a member
of the Planned Giving Advisory Council.
Troy is a Past President of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Arizona
and continues to serve on the organization’s Board of Directors.

Valley Estate Planners, the Planned Giving Roundtable of Arizona,
and the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits.
